Three young Bristol Flyers stars have been called up to the England talent programme for training camp in Manchester this week.
Corey Hill has been selected in the Under-15 boys squad, while Kamilah Yakubu and Charley Woodman have both been named in the Under-14 and Under-15 girls squads respectively.
The three young Flyers are part of 70 hopefuls that have progressed through this season’s rounds of Aspire Camps, and will be assessed by the coaching staff before the England squads are named for events in Menorca, Serbia and Scotland during April and May.
The three-day selection camp takes place over the next three days at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester
Steve Bucknall, Basketball England Head of Talent and Performance said: “Congratulations to the players who have the opportunity to show what they can do in camp and the coaches and staff appointed to lead them. It has been a productive season so far for the Aspire programme and I’m looking forward to seeing the players working hard to seize their chance to represent England.”
