Bristol Flyers Women maintained their win streak over the Christmas break with a convincing victory against Sevenoaks Suns II.
The first quarter set the tone for the rest of the game as Flyers secured the ball from the start and quickly turned it into points. Wallace came into the game flying with eight points in quick succession and a total of 12 points in the half. Points from Cantin and James boosted the Flyers even more to a powerful first quarter lead, 10-30.
Flyers seemed to loosen their grip in the second only scoring one more point than Sevenoaks with Andrews and Hutchinson both scoring three-pointers. Flyers had Zilbeti, Wallace and Bigica to keep them one step ahead, each putting up points as the half ended, 20-41.
The Flyers pushed on the gas in the third quarter and held Sevenoaks to eight points while taking 31 for themselves. Zilbeti and James sunk a pair of three-pointers and Ward closed out the quarter with a triple of her own, 28-72.
Sevenoaks made one final attempt on the fourth, but Cantin added eight points of her own and McDonald closed out the game with the final three points.
