Adam Weary believes Bristol Flyers will have to match Leicester’s intensity if they are to pick up their first BBL win over the Riders this weekend.
The BBL’s league leaders boast an impressive record of 13 wins and two losses so far this season, and will be keen to return to winning ways after suffering a four point defeat to the Newcastle Eagles last time out.
Weary, who’s entering the game following an 18 point performance against Worcester Wolves last weekend says he’s determined for Flyers to get back to winning ways.
"They just had a better rhythm than we did,” said Weary on last weekend’s defeat to Worcester.
"They rolled with it throughout the game and we could never really get any rhythm going for an extended period of time, so it was just a struggle from start.
"We need to make sure we come out dedicated to the right things on defence and bringing the right level of energy and effort to the game.
"Defensively they’re really good at pressuring the ball and taking you out of your offence, so we need to make sure that we run our offence with a purpose."
