We’re getting better every day - Thomas

Fred Thomas says the hard work in practice has been paying off head of Saturday night’s meeting with the London Lions.

Flyers enter the weekend following a 20-point win over Plymouth Raiders in the BBL Cup, but Thomas says consistency will be the key heading into this weekend’s clash with the defending Bbl Cup champions.

Speaking to Bristol Flyers TV, the American forward said: "It was a good win for us last week against Plymouth after losing the previous home game - but we just want to be that team that keeps on building - that starts in practice.

“The thing that’s impressed me the most so far is that our team chemistry is there so early in the season - I think that goes a long way.

"Having players from previous years like myself and Dan (Edozie) who already know the game has been key.

"If we can keep that chemistry throughout the whole season we can win a lot of ball games."

Saturday’s game against London Lions will be available to watch LIVE online via the official YouTube channel of the British Basketball League.
