Andreas Kapoulas hailed an excellent performance from his Bristol Flyers side, as they picked up a third straight pre-season victory against Team Basketball Wales at the SGS WISE Campus.
Twenty points apiece from Fred Thomas and Marcus Delpeche ensured Flyers head into Monday’s final pre-season encounter against Worcester Wolves off the back of a positive result, and Kapoulas was in no doubt it was one they richly deserved.
"There were a lot of positive things for us out there as a team," he told Bristol Flyers TV.
"I think we worked hard for the full 40 minutes, but there’s still room for us to improve defensively.
"We’re trying to build our habits for the coming season and I think communication on both ends is a priority. Team chemistry is really good and everyone is on the same boat at this point of the season.
"We’ve passed this test, but now we need to concentrate on our friendly against Worcester on Monday."
