We need a full 40 minute performance - Kapoulas

Andreas Kapoulas has stressed the importance of a strong start against London City Royals on Saturday night.

The Flyers head to the capital this weekend in search of their first win over the Royals since their inception to the BBL.

And following Friday’s slow start against the Scorchers, Coach Kapoulas is looking for his side to bring the energy from the opening tip.

"We’ve got to make sure we have a strong start, that’s going to be very important,” he told Bristol Flyers TV.

"London City Royals had their first win in Plymouth last weekend and they’re going to have a few extra guys playing this weekend too.

"It’ll be a big occasion for them with it being their first home game of the season, we just need to put together a strong 40 minute performance.

"It’s going to be a tough game and we look forward to the challenge."
