Report: Bristol Flyers 87-71 Manchester Giants

Bristol Flyers moved back into BBL play-off position with a 16-point win over the Manchester Giants.

Gentrey Thomas led the way with 19 points and seven rebounds, whilst new signing Eric Lockett marked his home debut with 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench.



The visitors started on the upper hand, getting to the basket for easy looks, with James Jones scoring eight first quarter points.

Edu Argues pushed the Giants' lead out to as many as 10 in the second, with Flyers trailing 34-42 at half-time and work to be done.
The hosts responded with a 10-4 run to open the second half and tied the game a 55 points apiece with three minutes to play in the third.

Daniel Edozie scored six points in a 16-2 spell in the final period, as Bristol blew the game wide open to pick up their fourth league win of the season.
