Vacancy: Perform academy data scout - Bristol Flyers

Perform Group - the official data collectors for the BBL - have a vacancy for a Bristol Flyers data scout for every home game.

This is a self-employed, part-time role, with full training provided. Applicants must be aged 18 or over. This is the perfect sideline job for a basketball enthusiast who is passionate about sports data.

The data is collected via a smartphone with Perform's own bespoke software, recording each point and foul of the game in real time to the utmost accuracy.


You are the perfect fit if you...

  • speak good English
  • bring good communication skills, especially on the phone
  • have good knowledge about basketball and a meticulous eye for detail
  • are confident when using technical devices (smartphones, computers etc.)
  • have regular access to the internet and own a mobile phone
  • like working in a team
  • are able to work during the evening and at weekends

  • full training and a PDA
  • payment per game depending on experience and performance
  • compensation of travel costs to a certain extent and 100% of the ticket costs
