Two junior Flyers receive England U18 call-up

Two young Bristol Flyers stars have been named to the England Under-18 squad ahead of the Four Nations tournament on April 13th and 14th.

Jason Soodeen has received an England Under-18s mens call-up, while Louisa Gibbins has been called up to the England Under-18 Women’s squad.

Steve Bucknall, Basketball England's Head of Talent and Performance said: "It is an excellent opportunity for English players to test their mettle against Irish, Scottish and Welsh talent.

“These competitions provide our young players with the experience and opportunity to play competitive games within the British Isles, creating rivalries and developing life skills with their peers and teammates. Players will learn vital lessons about dealing with pressure and team spirit.”
