There were plenty of positives - Kapoulas

Andreas Kapoulas says Bristol Flyers can take plenty of positives from his side's opening pre-season clash with USA Select.

Flyers put on an impressive performance in a wire-to-wire victory against Sean Kilmartin's traveling team of American free agents, recording their largest ever victory 92-46.

"It was a positive start, but there are still plenty of things to work on," Kapoulas told Bristol Flyers TV.

"We still have areas like communication and interior defence which we need to improve, but at the moment it's not about the margin, it's about the performance."

Flyers take on NBL Division One side Team Solent Kestrels on Saturday, September 8th (7.30pm tip-off.)
