Thank you to our departing players

Bristol Flyers would like to thank Marcus Evans, Zach Simmons, Shane Walker and Jake Notice, who will all depart the club this summer.

Evans signed his first professional contract with the Flyers out of VCU and has today completed a move to Swedish club BC Lulea for the 2022/23 season.

Simmons, who joined the Flyers out of North Texas University, made 26 league appearances for the Flyers and averaged 8.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Walker signed with the Flyers from London Lions and will also leave the club this summer, following the conclusion of his one-year contract.

SGS Basketball Academy graduate Jake Notice will move on to a new opportunity ahead of the upcoming season.

Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas said: "Iโ€™d like to thank all four players for their professionalism and contribution to Bristol Flyers during their time with the club.

"Itโ€™s the nature of professional sport that, at the end of the season, we see some players move on to new opportunities.

โ€œWeโ€™d like to wish them all the best for the next chapter of their careers and they will always be a part of the Flyers Family."
