Spire Injury Report - Miller out with sprained ankle

Mike Miller is on the road to recovery from a sprained ankle and is expected to be out of action for a further few weeks.

Miller has been on the sidelines since the start of December, after sustaining an injury in practice, and was forced to miss the recent games against Surrey, Plymouth, Newcastle and Glasgow.

The injury has since been imaged by the expert team at the Spire Bristol Hospital and the club is hopeful that Mike can play some competitive basketball by the end of January.

Club therapist Craig Barden said “Mike sustained a serious ankle injury and spent a couple of weeks in a boot and on crutches.

"However, we are making good improvements and Mike is certainly putting in a lot of work to get back on the court as soon as possible.”

The club would like to thank their partners at Spire Bristol Hospital for their support on Mike’s road to recovery.
