Leslee Smith is expecting a high-intensity game when Worcester Wolves visit the WISE Arena on Saturday night (7.30pm).
“Last weekend was a character building night. I thought we stuck together no matter what the deficit was, we just kept chipping away and before we knew it, we were only down four points and eventually got the win.
"It just says that we can compete with anybody and we’ve just go to stick with the process. We’ve been practicing really hard, I think it sends a good message that we can compete with any team in this league."
Saturday’s meeting with the Wolves with be the second time the two teams have met this season, after Flyers fell to a 91-76 defeat when the sides faced off on BBC Sport at the University Arena last month.
"Our defensive intensity was not good in that last game,” added Smith.
“We need to move the ball, play inside-out, play hard and stay aggressive. There’s going to be a lot of defence and athleticism on show in a really intense game this weekend.”
Unreserved tickets for Saturday’s visit of Worcester Wolves how now completely SOLD OUT. Limited courtside and standing tickets are still available to buy online.
