Bristol Sport is pleased to announce Bristol-headquartered recruitment organisation Resource Solutions Group (RSG) has re-affirmed its commitment to the Bristol Flyers and will become the official front of shirt sponsor for the Bristol Jets badminton team for the 2016/17 season.
RSG have sponsored the Flyers for the past two seasons in British basketball’s top flight (BBL), while Bristol Jets are a brand new venture for the Clifton-based recruitment company as the Jets enter their first season in the AJ Bell National Badminton League (NBL).
RSG Chief Executive Mike Beesley said: "We are very proud to continue our backing of Bristol Flyers and extend it to the Bristol Jets for their inaugural year in the NBL.
"It is exciting to add another club, and a new sport in Badminton to our stable of sponsored teams and to continue our commitment to backing Bristol sport and our local community.
“The Flyers are facing an exciting period of change on and off the court and we look forward to seeing the club and fans enter the new season with full support from us as headline sponsor.
"We would like to send our best wishes to both the Flyers and the Jets for their forthcoming campaigns, whose commitment and hard work, together with the support of their sponsors, will see both teams gain the success they deserve.”
Founded in Bristol in 1975, RSG has grown from a single recruitment company into a multi-million pound, European-wide network of expert recruitment businesses.
RSG’s backing of both teams not only benefits sport in Bristol, but also their own employees. Many members of RSG’s staff are fans of the Flyers and are able to attend matches and special events in the sporting calendar through the partnership, which in turn promotes motivation and morale.
Bristol Sport CEO Andrew Billingham commented: “We are delighted that RSG have continued their sponsorship of the Flyers and have extended it to include our brand new badminton franchise, the Bristol Jets. We look forward to an exciting year ahead as the Jets embark on their first ever season in the AJ Bell National Badminton League (NBL).
