Bristol Flyers slipped to their fourth straight defeat in the BBL after a disappointing performance away at Leeds Force.
Flyers headed into the game in confident mood holding a 3-0 record over Force in the BBL, but Leeds ensured the Bristol side’s worst ever start to a season continued as they went down 71-68 at the Leeds Beckett University Arena.
Louis Sayers led a third quarter surge for Force with a joint team-high 17 points on the night, as Leeds went into the end of the third having built a double digit lead.
A fourth quarter comeback for Bristol was cut short, as Mathias Seilund's haul of 19 points and 8 rebounds just wasn't enough for the Flyers to claim their first win of the season.
Flyers will look to claim that elusive first win of the season in their next game – away at London Lions on Thursday, October 8th.
