Report: Bristol Flyers 66–86 London Lions

Bristol Flyers were unable to put a stop to London Lions winning streak in the BBL Championship with an 86-66 defeat on Sunday.

Hassan and Taylor got going immediately as they scored four each in a 9-0 start, and that lead reached 23-5 after just six minutes as Kai Williams and Alex Owumi hit three-pointers.

Flyers responded with the next nine but any comeback was cut short as the Lions reached 50 points, and a 20 point lead. With three minutes to play in the half Williams, Zaire Taylor and Joe Ikhinmwin all added further triples.

Following the break the Flyers were unable to close the gap as Taylor and Williams opened the third period with further three-pointers, for a 63-38 lead.

The Lions record against the Flyers now stands at 7-1 in BBL competition, with Lions restricting Flyers to fewer than 70 points in six of the eight meetings between the teams in the BBL.
