Sheffield Sharks v Bristol Flyers
BBL Championship,
Friday, April 14th 2017,
EIS Sheffield,
Bristol Flyers look to make it a very 'Good Friday' when they travel to Sheffield Sharks in the penultimate away game of the regular season (7.30pm).
Everything you need to know on Friday’s opponents can be found below:
AS IT STANDS
Flyers could climb as high as seventh in the league if results go their way. A win over Sheffield coupled with a Leicester Riders victory over Plymouth could see Flyers leapfrog their south-west rivals in the race for the BBL play-offs.
"We’re not focused on other results going on around the league, we just want to produce another 40 minutes of Flyers Basketball.”
SHEFFIELD SHARKS
An illustrious club with a rich heritage, Sharks are one of the most well-known clubs in British Basketball and even more so after one of the most memorable days in their history last May as they won the BBL Play-Off Final at The O2 in front of 13,000 fans.
Sheffield split their weekend double-header last week, while the Flyers boosted their top eight hopes with a double success over Cheshire Phoenix. Sheffield are closing in on a third top-four finish in the past four seasons.
