BBL
Copperbox Arena
Sunday, October 2nd (4pm)

Flyers travel to the home of the London Lions, the Copperbox Arena, for their first away game of the season in the BBL.

Everything you need to know about the London Lions can be found below.

LONDON LIONS
Following a runners-up spot in the 2014/15 play-offs, Lions had a somewhat disappointing 2015/16, exiting at the quarter-final stage of the play-offs following a loss over two games with Sheffield Sharks. Lions have had one game so far this season, beating Surrey Scorchers in a low-scoring game at the Copperbox Arena, 69-58.

HEAD COACH
Nigel Lloyd – Lloyd took over the role of Head Coach for the Lions in 2015 after Vince Macaulay opted to lift himself out of the coaching seat to focus on off-court activities. He's previously coached the Barbados national team in the Caribbean Championships, and is no stranger to winning in the BBL. The former league MVP had a steady first season, leading the Lions into the play-offs last year.

ONE TO WATCH
Zaire Taylor – The former league MVP has rejoined Lions following a year in France, having won the French NM1 Championship with Bloise Basket last season. Taylor led the Lions to the BBL Play-off Championship Final at the end of his previous stint in London in 2015 and is a BBL Trophy and play-off winner with Worcester Wolves.

LAST TIME OUT
Flyers final home game of the 2016/17 season ended with a 65-78 loss to the London Lions.

OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Saturday's game will be Rob Hickman, Keith Williams and Ian Atkins
