Bristol Flyers’ leading scorer Cardell McFarland will return from injury when the Flyers host the Worcester Wolves on Saturday night (7.30pm tip-off).

WORCESTER WOLVES
The Wolves were originally formed in May 2000 by Roger Clarke and Mick Donovan. Having come runners up to Bristol in NBL Division three in their first season, the Wolves were promoted, and after two bottom half finishes, the 2003-4 season saw them take the Patron’s Cup, runners up in the league, and win the play-off final against London Capital to gain promotion to Division One. The Club entered the BBL in 2006, and since then have won both the BBL Play-Offs and the BBL Trophy.

HEAD COACH
Paul James – A veteran of the British basketball scene as a former player for his hometown team Leicester All-Stars in the 80s, James moved into coaching at Bracknell Tigers before making his name at Guildford Heat. James was named BBL Coach of The Year following a league and cup double in 2007, before leading the club into European competition the next season. Leaving Heat in 2009 James was then appointed Wolves head coach later that year. James' achievements were recognised when he was appointed Head Coach of England Senior Men’s Team in early 2010.

ONE TO WATCH
Perris Blackwell - The 6ft9in Power Forward was Coach James’ third new signing this summer as part of a new era for the club, which saw just one player retained from last season’s squad. The California native began his professional career last year in Chile with Osorno, averaging 20 points and 12 rebounds per game. Blackwell has had a hot start to life in the BBL, so far averaging 18.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
