Bristol Flyers look to make it two wins from two so far this season when Surrey Scorchers visit the SGS WISE Arena this Saturday (7.30pm) in the BBL Cup.

Here's everything you need to know about Scorchers.

SURREY SCORCHERS
Scorchers had a tough start to life in their debut BBL season last year, finishing bottom of the pile with just seven league wins. The Guildford-based club haven't started any better so far this season, losing their opening two games to London Lions and Plymouth Raiders last weekend. 

COACH
The club have gone back to it’s roots in hiring Zimbabwean Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos, who led up the team under it’s previous names Guildford Heat and Surrey Heat. They achieved a top-four finish under him in 2012-13 and reached the BBL Trophy final in 2011, before Raftopoulos was dismissed ahead of a takeover which saw the club’s name changed to Surrey United.

ONE TO WATCH
Will Neighbour – The 26-year-old former Great Britain international has had a great start to the 2016/17 season despite Scorchers struggles, scoring 18 and 25 points in their first two games. Neighbour is looking to make up for lost time after a shoulder injury limited him to just 11 appearances in the BBL last season.

OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Saturday’s game will be Andy Thackray, Darren Bolt and Piotr Florecki.

LAST TIME OUT
An incredible performance from Scorchers captain Tayo Ogedengbe consigned Flyers to an 89-81 defeat away in Surrey the last time the two sides met back in December 2015.
