Bristol Flyers welcome Plymouth Raiders to the SGS WISE Arena on Friday night in the final home game of 2015 (7.30pm tip-off)

All the key information on Friday’s BBL opponents can be found below.

PLYMOUTH RAIDERS
One of the oldest teams in the country, Raiders have been competing in the EBL and now the BBL for 33 years. Spending their formative years struggling towards the bottom end of the EBL, a move to the Plymouth Pavilions in 1996 saw the team’s fortune’s dramatically change. At their new home Plymouth consistently finished in the top four of the EBL before making the step up to the BBL in 2004. Raiders’ best finish in the BBL came in 2008 when coach Gary Stronach led the team to third in the Championship and to the semi-finals of the play-offs.

HEAD COACH
Daryl Corletto - Corletto was named player/coach of the Raiders following the sudden departure of former Head Coach Jay Marriott earlier this season. The 34-year-old has won multiple titles as a player with Melbourne Tigers and New Zealand Breakers in the NBL, and hopes to bring that winning mentality to help turn around the Raiders’ slow start to the season.

ONE TO WATCH
Josh Wilcher - The Australian playmaker is a familiar face to Bristol Flyers’ forward Tyrone Lee, having played for opposing teams in Australia’s SEABL during the summer. Wilcher currently averages 11.5 points and 7 assists per game, and is one of the most consistent performers in the the league, having signed for his second year with the Raiders at the beginning of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
Bristol Flyers kept their unbeaten run against Plymouth Raiders alive after an impressive 88-77 victory away from home in the first round of the BBL Cup - Click here to watch the highlights.

OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Friday’s game will be Andy Thackeray, Gavin Lewis and Piotr Florecki.
