Bristol Flyers look to carry their BBL Cup momentum into the regular season against the Manchester Giants at the SGS WISE Arena on Friday night (7.30pm tip-off)

All the key information about Friday’s BBL opponents can be found below.

MANCHESTER GIANTS
Last season the Giants moved to a new home at the Lucozade Powerleague Sportsdome in Urmston and it was almost a successful one as they flirted with securing successive Play-Off spots, only to be edged out on the last day of the season by the Bristol Flyers into ninth spot.

HEAD COACH
Yorick Williams - One of the most controversial players in BBL history, Williams takes the reigns from Jeff Jones as a player-coach for the Manchester Giants. Williams has played over 5600 minutes in the BBL, scoring over 6200 points for six different clubs. The 6ft 4in guard has also represented Great Britain team in his career.

ONE TO WATCH
Olu Babalola - The 6ft 6in power forward signed for the Giants in the summer after spending five years with the Sheffield Sharks. The 33-year-old won the BBL Trophy and the BBL Cup during his time with the Yorkshire side and currently averages 13.1 points per game over seven appearances for the Giants of far this season.

OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Friday’s game will be Darren Bolt, Gavin Williams and Ian Spearman
