Bristol Flyers v Leicester Riders
BBL Championship
SGS WISE Arena
Saturday, November 5th (7.30pm)

There promises to be plenty of fireworks on Saturday night when the defending league champions Leicester Riders visit the SGS WISE Arena for a 7.30pm tip-off.

All the key information on Saturday’s opponents can be found below.

LEICESTER RIDERS
Leicester Riders have firmly established themselves as one of the leading clubs in the BBL in terms of their on-court and off-court accomplishments. Former treble-winners, they have many honours to their name, while also having the thrill of a spectacular new venue at the Leicester Community Arena.

HEAD COACH
Rob Paternostro - After picking up the Molten Coach of the Year crown in his first season in charge, Paternostro led Leicester to the BBL Championship, BBL Play-Off and BBL Cup success. The Riders’ most successful coach is now tied with Newcastle Eagles coach Fab Flournoy as the most decorated BBL coach of all time.

ONE TO WATCH
Andrew Thomson - Arguably one of the league’s most eye-catching summer transfers, Thomson joined the Riders from the Newcastle Eagles in July. Thomson has had a very successful season so far in Leicester, averaging just over ten points per game shooting a very impressive 58% from behind the three-point-line.

OFFICIALS
Taking charge of Saturday’s game will be Gavin Williams, Ian Spearman and Gavin Lewis.
