Okereafor named in GB squad for EuroBasket qualifiers

Teddy Okereafor has been named in the 14-man Great Britain squad for this week’s EuroBasket qualifiers in Pau, France.

The squad, which also features Academy graduate Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, will be assisted by Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas.

The team made the journey to FIBA’s bubble ahead of this weekend’s EuroBasket 2022 qualifying double-header against France and Montenegro.

The hosts, who are currently ranked sixth in the world, are up first on Friday before the team’s second group game against Montenegro on Sunday.

Both games – which were originally due to take place in Newcastle – tip off at 5pm and will be available to watch LIVE on FIBA’s YouTube channel.
