Nicholls returns for fourth Flyers season

Jordan Nicholls has extended his stay with Bristol Flyers for the 2019/20 season.

The 6ft1in point guard, who made 18 first team appearances for the Flyers last season, will return for his fourth year with the club, following spells in NBL Division one for Reading Rockets and Team Solent Kestrels.

Speaking to bristolflyers.co.uk, Nicholls said: "I’ve made a home here in Bristol and it feels good to be back.

"I had a few conversations with Coach Kapoulas over the summer where we talked of what is needed from me.

"I had the birth of my first child in June, so it’s taken a bit longer to make a decision on playing for the team this year.

"I feel like I've made steps forward in terms of my contribution to the team and I want to take that experience into my fourth year in the league to help the club have a successful season."

Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas said: "Jordan has been with our BBL programme for three years now and has made Bristol his home.

"He’s really matured as a player over the past three years and it has been evident from our discussions that he’s willing to do whatever it takes for our team to be successful.”
