McCloud named in 2018/19 BBL defensive team of the year

Jalan McCloud has been named off the bench in the 2018/19 Molten BBL defensive team of the year.

As voted for by the 12 BBL head coaches, McCloud finished fourth in the league in steals (2.1), whilst also averaging 15.3 points and 4.0 assists in his first professional season, featuring twice in the league's team of the week.

After helping lead Texas Southern to the NCAA Tournament in 2017, McCloud transferred to East Tennessee State University, where he averaged 11.8 points, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
McCloud finished fourth in the league in steals with 2.1 per game
The 5ft11in playmaker went on to sign his first professional contract with the Flyers in August 2018 and has lit up the league on both ends of the floor, earning recognition from the head coaches around the league in the 2018/19 Molten BBL awards.
