Bristol Flyers face a BBL Cup derby tie against South West rivals Plymouth Raiders on Friday night.

HEAD COACH

Paul James - Now entering his second full season with the Raiders, Paul James has dedicated much of his career to developing the sport at all levels and his passion for nurturing home grown British talent was instrumental in expanding the BUCS basketball programme at Worcester University between 2010-2017, which saw him win four consecutive championship titles.


LAST TIME OUT

Flyers showed toughness and grit, but ultimately fell short in an overtime thriller against Plymouth Raiders.

Fred Thomas led all scorers with 27 points and added 12 rebounds to complete a double-double. Jalan McCloud had a great stat line of 20 points, five assists, four steals and three rebounds.

#4 Josh Wilcher - Australian point guard Josh Wilcher has been a key part of Plymouth's success in recent years and averaged 17 points and six assists last season to help the Raiders return to the play-offs for the first time in seven years. The 5ft10in playmaker posted 30 points in Plymouth’s opening win of the season against Surrey Scorchers last weekend.
