Riding high at the top of the BBL Championship, Lions enter Friday’s game on a six-game win streak in all competitions. Last week saw the Lions put on a show at the Copper Box, as they handed Newcastle a 20-point defeat in the top of the table clash before easing to a 17-point win at home to Glasgow.

HEAD COACH

Vince Macaulay - A former player for Brixton Topcats, London Towers and Hemel Royals, Macaulay acquired the franchise in 1998 and relocated it to Milton Keynes. Macaulay then moved the club to London for the 2012/13 season and has since seen his side transform into BBL Championship winners.

ONE TO WATCH

DeAndre Liggins - Lions made the statement signing of former NBA guard DeAndre Liggins over the summer.

The 53rd overall pick by the Orlando Magic in the 2011 NBA draft, Liggins represented the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans during his NBA career.

Liggins was also a regular in the NBA G League, with both the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Tulsa 66ers, winning a D-League title in 2016 as well as Defensive Player of the Year (twice) and All-Star honours.
