ITEC Game Preview: London Lions (A) - BBL Championship

Bristol Flyers return to league action when they travel to London Lions on Wednesday night (7.30pm).

HEAD COACH

Vince Macaulay - A former player for Brixton Topcats, London Towers and Hemel Royals, Macaulay acquired the franchise in 1998 and relocated it to Milton Keynes. Macaulay then moved the club to London for the 2012/13 season and has seen his side transform into BBL Championship contenders, with high hopes of seeing the team compete on the European stage in the near future.

#00 Ovie SokoLondon-born Soko, also known for his stint on reality TV show Love Island, originally played for the Barnet Bulldogs but moved to the US in his teens to play basketball for Bethel High School in Hampton, Virginia where he led the team to a district championship win.

He enjoyed a five-year college basketball career - three years at the University of Alabama before transferring to Duquesne in Pittsburgh.

Soko has spent the past few seasons in Spain with UCAM Murcia, earning accolades in the Basketball Champions League after helping his side reach the Final Four.
