Bristol Flyers host Cheshire Phoenix in the first game of a weekend home doubleheader on Friday night (7.30pm tip-off).

The Nix head to the WISE Campus on Friday with an identical 4-7 league record to the Flyers. Last weekend saw the Phoenix begin their BBL Trophy campaign with a 77-63 win over Division One opposition Hemel Storm, as recent addition Matthew Bryan-Amaning made his debut for the club.

Ben Thomas - Thomas has been involved with the club since 2012 in a coaching capacity, acting as an assistant to numerous coaches until being given a chance to take the helm in 2017.
Under his leadership, Thomas led the Nix to a BBL Cup title in 2018.
Bristol Flyers gutted out an overtime road win against Cheshire Phoenix to claim their first league win of the season, 81-84.
Eric Lockett did a little bit of everything for Flyers with a 13 point, 12 rebound double-double adding nine assists and four steals.
