It was the cherry on top - Edozie

Daniel Edozie has labelled the 20 point win over Plymouth Raiders as the 'cherry on top’ of his 27th birthday celebrations.

The Flyers captain notched his first double double of the season, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds as Bristol recorded their largest ever win in a south west derby.

Speaking to Bristol Flyers TV, Edozie said: It was a much needed win. We let ourselves down last week because we we let slip a big lead, but we took the lessons learned from that game into tonight and we weren’t going to let that happen again.

"Especially playing at home, we had to take full advantage of that and we used it as fuel to compete tonight.”

Under 100 tickets left for the visit of London Lions on Saturday, October 19th.
