Injury Report - Liam Davis suffers achilles tear

Liam Davis has suffered a torn achilles and is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Davis landed awkwardly in the BBL Cup Quarter-Final against Newcastle Eagles, and after an initial assessment from club therapist Craig Barden, he was forced to miss the recent games against Leicester Riders and Surrey Scorchers.

He has since had an ultrasound scan and was subsequently diagnosed with an achilles tendon tear.

Davis will be re-assessed by the specialist in January, where it will be determined if he requires surgery. At this stage, this is likely a season-ending injury.

The club wishes Liam well for a full and speedy recovery.
