Injury Report - Edozie out with sprained ankle

Bristol Flyers can confirm Daniel Edozie has suffered a lateral ankle sprain and is likely to be out of action for the next few weeks.

Edozie landed awkwardly during the game against Plymouth Raiders on Saturday, December 28th and was quickly assessed on site by the Raiders’ physio.

Following further evaluation from Flyers’ club therapist Craig Barden, it was concluded that he would need to miss the next few weeks to allow him to fully recover before stepping back on the court.

"Dan came down on his ankle and sprained it pretty badly against Plymouth,” Barden told bristolflyers.co.uk.

"He has had the necessary scans and has also been assessed by a specialist, who is happy there is no fracture, which is great news.

"Dan is already well underway with his rehabilitation and we are hopeful he will be fit to lead the team out against Worcester in the BBL Cup Final on Sunday, January 26th.”
