p>It was neck and neck early on as both sides began the game in lively fashion, however as the first quarter wore on Surrey were out rebounding Flyers at every opportunity, winning 10 rebounds in comparison to just six for Bristol.
Flyers were struggling to impose themselves on the game and were allowing the home side to dictate the play too often.
Scorchers built a big lead early on with a buzzer beater alleyoop seing the home side up by 12 after the first, 27-15.
Flyers upped the aggression in the second quarter - matching Surrey's physicality on the rebounds and shooting threes well.
Boggs made several strong plays on his way to 17 points for the half but Scorchers kept their effort high to maintain a solid lead, 52-41 at the half.
Bristol started the second half in sluggish manner, Coach Kapoulas feeling the need to call a timeout at 6:59 with Scorchers lead extended to 61-47.
Things went from bad to worse with Boggs benched by Coach K following his fourth personal foul.
Vigor, however made a couple of big plays at the end of the third to bring Flyers right back into it - 69-61 heading into the final quarter.
Scorchers again started the brighter in the final period to increase their lead to ten, with nothing to lose, the Flyers Head Coach brought Boggs back into the game and this turned the game on it's head.
Boggs scored six straight points to help Flyers to a 15-2 run to steal the game 85-86 at the Surrey Sports Park.
