Bristol Flyers suffered a third straight loss in the BBL, going down 86-70 away at Sheffield Sharks.
A game leading 20 point performance from Brandon Boggs was not enough for Flyers who were undone by a terrible second quarter in Sheffield.
Flyers started the game well, Jordan Davis putting Bristol into a seven-point lead after three minutes, on what was his first start of the season against his former employers.
Chris Taylor then nailed a three-point jump shot with Flyers up 4-10. The home side edged their way back into it as the quarter wore on, Flyers leading 14-15 heading into the second quarter.
The second period was a defensive horror show for Coach Kapoulas' men - conceding 36 points in this quarter compared to Flyers' 19.
Had Flyers been more competitive in this second period there would have been everything to play for - the two teams were separated by just one point in each of the other three quarters.
Bristol tried in vein to claw their way back into the game with a number of highlight reel plays from Boggs throughout the contest. That seventeen point deficit proved too big of a mountain to climb, Sharks winning 86-70.
