Bristol Flyers swept the BBL season series with Plymouth Raiders following a 76-88 win on the south coast.
Panos Mayindombe had his most impressive game in a Flyers jersey so far to top score with 16 points off 23 minutes from the bench.
There were also double doubles for Leslee Smith and Mike Vigor as five Flyers scored in the double digits.
Flyers began well winning the tip, and playing the ball around nicely before Smith beat the shot clock buzzer to get the first points on the board.
Adam Weary then made the layup to put Flyers into an early lead.
Raiders converted a couple of free throws before the sides traded baskets.
The home side began to exert some more control on the game, with Will Neighbour the key man as Plymouth got themselves into a 15-8 lead.
Coach Kapoulas subbed in Mayindombe who made a couple of nice jump shots to help Flyers tie the game at the end of the first, 19-19.
Jordan Davis hit a good three early on in the second before Smith hit an impressive single-handed slam as Flyers kept pace with an enthusiastic Raiders side.
Roy Owen then contributed four points off the bench as the game continued to impress. The final few minute of the half saw the game be played more from the free throw line - Davis converting two to hand Flyers a slender lead going in the second half, 38-40.
Both sides struggled to produce the same sort of entertaining basketball in the third quarter, with even the easiest of baskets being missed by Raiders and Flyers.
Louis Sayers and Tre Bowman made a couple of nice threes to push the home side out in front but a three from Mayindombe and some consistent scoring for the Flyers saw the game tied up 54-54 at the end of the period.
It was an entertaining start to the fourth quarter as both sides scored some impressive three-pointers, Mayindombe for Flyers, Sayers and Bowman for the home side.
It stayed nip and tuck until a key turning point midway through the quarter, Raiders fouled Davis, and their Head Coach, Gavin Love was given a technical.
Davis made his free throw to put Flyers up by three and from the resulting possession, Mayindombe sunk a three to give Flyers a six point lead.
Chasing the game, Raiders put Flyers to the free throw line repeatedly. Coach K's men were consistent from the line, shooting 75% FTs in the game. This was personified by Jordan Davis who showed ice cool composure to sink six in a row in the final few minutes to see Bristol win by 12,
