Bristol Flyers are still searching for their first BBL win over Leicester Riders, falling to a 79-59 defeat on the road.
Pierre Hampton led the scoring in the game with 17 points whilst Adam Weary top scored for Flyers with 13.
Riders began brighter in the first quarter, racing into a 16-6 lead as Flyers struggled to get to grips with the home side.
After a sluggish start Flyers burst into life, emphatically posting 13 points without reply in the final couple of minutes of the first period, up 16-19. The highlight of this spell was a couple of quickfire threes from Jordan Davis, the second under huge pressure from the home defence.
The second quarter again saw Riders race into a big lead, with Hampton in imperious form for Leicester on his way to 15 first-half points.
Flyers were frustrated by some enthusiastic refereeing seeing the officials calling a technical on Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas. Riders up 42-29 at the half.
Riders' defence looked impenetrable at times as Flyers struggled on the offence - a malaise even the usually reliable Brandon Boggs summed up as he missed his dunk in third quarter.
Leicester kept their lead ticking over in the final two quarters with Flyers unable to put together the sort of run needed to work their way back into it. The 2016/17 BBL champions claiming a 20 point victory, 79-59.
