Flyers Women shortlisted for Bristol Post Sports Award

Bristol Flyers women have been shortlisted at the 2019 Bristol Post Sports awards.
The team have been nominated for the Senior Team of the Year award, after claiming the 2018/19 WNBL Division One league title with a record of 15 wins and three losses.

Since their resurgence to the national league in 2015/16, Bristol Flyers Women have quickly become one of the leading female Basketball teams in the South West. With future developments in junior and senior basketball, the team is eager to establish themselves as a leading female club in British Basketball.

This year’s awards are to be held at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate stadium on Thursday, November 14th and will be hosted by popular BBC sports presenter John Inverdale.
