Flyers to discover BBL Trophy opponents LIVE on Facebook

The draw for the opening round of the 2019/20 BBL Trophy competition will take place LIVE on the BBL Facebook page at 6pm on Tuesday, November 26th.

BBL commentator Dan Routledge will host the first round draw alongside Sheffield Sharks’ captain Mike Tuck and Jesse Chuku of the Leicester Riders.

The Flyers are guaranteed a home tie in the BBL Trophy first round after failing to qualify for a home game in the quarter-final of the Cup - with the first round games set to take place on the weekend commencing Friday, January 3rd - full details to follow.

As with last season, the BBL Trophy competition will follow a bracket format, so the path to the final will be revealed following Tuesday's draw.

There will be four non-BBL teams competing in the BBL Trophy:

  • Worthing Thunder
  • Durfermline Reign
  • Basketball Wales
  • Team Solent Kestrels
Fans can receive a notification of when the draws go live on Tuesday by liking the BBL’s Facebook page.
