Flyers to compete in Pre-Season Tournament

Bristol Flyers will compete in The Mike Burton Invitational Pre-Season Tournament on Saturday, September 18th and Sunday September 19th.

Taking place across two days at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village, Flyers will compete against Cheshire Phoenix, Glasgow Rocks and Belfast Star, who compete in the Irish Super League.

Tickets for the tournament are available via the Cheshire Phoenix website, with adult weekend tickets priced at £17.50 and £14 for children.

Single day tickets are also available for £12, whilst a child day ticket is priced at £10. The tournament will not be streamed online.

TOURNAMENT RULES

Group Games:
- 4 x 10 Minute running clock quarters.

- Last 2 minutes of the fourth quarter will be stopping clock.
- Each team has one time out per quarter (one minute)
- If overtime is required, it will be five minutes running clock. 
- Normal amount of time between periods 1+2 and 3+4.
- Half-time will be 5 minutes.

Semi-Final / Final:
- 4 x 12 minute running clock quarters
- Last two minutes of the fourth quarter will be stopping clock.
- Each team has one timeout per quarter (one minute)
- If overtime is required, it will be five minutes running clock.
