Bristol Flyers is delighted to announce the launch of a new basketball centre at Orchard School, running every Saturday during term time from September 7th.
The newly relocated and expanded centre will offer youngsters the chance to get involved in regular basketball, with sessions running for boys and girls aged 5-16-years-old.
Flyers community development manager, Claire Buckingham, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to offer the chance for more children to play basketball through the newly relocated and expanded Flyers Community Basketball Centre.
“With additional sessions for U8s, girls and U16s running alongside our established U11s and U13s sessions, the Flyers Community team are looking forward to providing high quality inclusive basketball coaching to children in Bristol on Saturdays at the Orchard School in Filton.
“The Basketball Centre complements our existing hubs in Keynsham and Knowle and demonstrates our commitment to offering all children in Bristol the chance to play basketball locally and become part of the Flyers family.
“Our links to the Flyers will provide a clear pathway to develop future Basketball talent for both girls and boys as well as focussing on fun, active and inclusive basketball.”
