Flyers launch elite partnership with flybmi

Bristol Flyers is delighted to announce a new elite partnership with flybmi for the 2018/19 season.

The British regional airline has signed a one-year deal, which will see their company logo added to the front of the Flyers’ official home and away shorts.

flybmi operates an all-jet fleet comprising 19 Embraer 135 and 145 aircraft. The airline now operates over 600 scheduled flights a week across a network of 43 destinations and employs more than 400 staff.

The airline proudly flies from the award-winning Bristol Airport directly to eight European and UK destinations including Aberdeen, Brussels, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Paris.

Antony Price, Director of Marketing & Customer for flybmi said: “We’re very excited to launch this exciting new partnership with the Bristol Flyers basketball team.

"With our previous involvement with Bristol City football club, we felt it would be natural progression to extend our support across the Bristol Sport group.

“Bristol Flyers are a perfect brand and organization to partner with and hopefully we can extend our support as the club push to compete in Europe over the coming years.”

Bristol Flyers’ Commercial Manager Steve Devereux added: “It’s testament to both the progression of British basketball and the Flyers to see established international companies, such as flybmi, partner with our club.

"This agreement signals the start of an exciting new partnership for the Flyers, with flybmi joining our growing list of elite partners as an official shorts sponsor, benefitting from the BBL’s accelerating broadcast coverage.

"With a natural brand alignment, we’re looking forward to creatively bringing this partnership to life throughout the season.”

All flybmi fares include 23kg of hold luggage, allocated seating, complimentary in-flight drinks and snacks and speedy 30 minute check-ins.
