Flyers host 2018/19 sponsors basketball tournament

Bristol Flyers’ 2018/19 sponsors and partners went head to head this week in the second annual Bristol Flyers sponsors tournament at the SGS College Arena.

The event saw Flyers’ first team players take on coaching roles with each of the teams, with Up & Under Sports being crowned winners for a second year in a row.

Steve Devereux, Bristol Flyers Commercial Manager said: "It’s a great chance for our sponsors to come together and give basketball a try because most of them haven’t played before.

“The players a really getting into it and everyone’s having fun. Our sponsors are really important to use and their support is valuable to the club to help us grow in the future.”

Flyers Head Coach Andreas Kapoulas added: “It was a great way for us to say 'thank you’ to our sponsors for all their great support this season.

“Our players are great role models and ambassadors for the Flyers, and for them to interact with the companies that invest so much their time and effort into our club is very important.”
