Flyers form performance and recovery partnership with 2XU

Bristol Flyers is proud to welcome 2XU as a new technical apparel partner.

Worn by world champion athletes and sports teams around the world, Bristol Flyers players will benefit from 2XU’s elite performance and recovery products, including compression shorts, recovery tights and shooting sleeves, throughout the 2021/22 BBL season.

2XU (pronounced "Two Times You") will also support the team with technical apparel that aids and accelerates recovery when worn after every game.

Established globally as a specialist run and triathlon brand, 2XU has grown to become the world’s most advanced technical apparel company, driven by a relentless pursuit to multiply human performance and create a fitter, healthier world.

2XU garments are available in more than 70 countries worldwide and are proven by independent, scientific research to deliver real physiological benefits to athletes of all abilities.

Damian Cooper of 2XU UK said “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Bristol Flyers and provide the team with 2XU’s leading compression garments.

"Flyers know exactly what it takes to perform at the top level, so with an intense 2021/22 schedule ahead, 2XU’s compression will help to enhance the team’s preparation and performance by increasing blood flow and reducing muscle movement whilst offering powerful yet lightweight flexibility – all of which will help to reduce the risk of injury and speed up recovery between games.”

Flyers Commercial Manager Steve Devereux said: “2XU are an established technical performance apparel company and therefore a perfect partner for an elite sports club such as ourselves.

“Supporting the recovery of our athletes is especially beneficial with the intense nature of a basketball schedule often meaning multiple games in a week."
