Eric Lockett - The First Interview

Eric Lockett spoke to Bristol Flyers TV for the first time after joining the club from Al-Rayyan Sports Club in Qatar.

The American shooting guard out of NC State linked up with his new teammates this week and goes straight into Coach Kapoulas’ squad for tonight’s meeting wit Worcester Wolves.

“It feels great - I’m happy to be here,” he told Bristol Flyers TV.

"My agent reached out to me to let me know that his offer was on the table, so I did my research before I spoke to Coach Kapoulas.

"He told me about the team’s situation and what they were looking to bring in and I felt like it was a good fit for me.

"I had a chance to practice with the guys this week to figure out everyone’s strengths and weaknesses.

"I’m excited to play in front of the Flyers fans - I know all of the games sell out in really quickly in Bristol so I can’t wait to play in from of them."

Watch Eric Lockett make his BBL debut against the Worcester Wolves tonight at 7.30pm, LIVE on the official Youtube channel of the British Basketball League.
