Edozie - 'We need to have the right mindset'

Daniel Edozie says Saturday’s game against Glasgow Rocks is going to come down to whichever team wants it more on the night.

Flyers scored just 13 points in the final ten minutes against the Rocks last weekend, to ultimately fall to a five point defeat on the road in front of the BBC Sport cameras.

Edozie insists the team will come back fighting when the Rocks make the return trip to Bristol in front of a packed crowd at the WISE Arena this weekend.

“They (Glasgow) don’t do anything spectacular, it’s just a mindset thing,” he told Bristol Flyers TV.

“When they come down to our place, we need to have a mindset of not allowing them to have anything easy.

"It isn’t going to come down to talent or skill, it’s going to come down to who wants it more. It’s going to be one of those wars where everybody on the team is going to have to bring it.

When asked about playing the same side two weeks in a row, Edozie added: "I think we look at this game similar to playing Plymouth back-to-back.

“We played them the first time and we knew we should have won that one, but when we played them again we destroyed them on their home court, so that’s how it’s going to be this Saturday.

Tony Garbelotto’s men make the trip to Bristol on Saturday night, with limited tickets still able to buy online.
