Consistency is key - Thomas

Fred Thomas believes consistency will be key if Bristol Flyers are to make a deep BBL Cup run this season.
The forward played a key part in his side’s 97-94 victory over the holders London Lions on Saturday night, finishing with a team-high 20 points and eight rebounds.

It was a win that lifted Flyers to a 3-2 record in the Southern group, and Thomas feels if they continue their high level of performance, they will go far in the Cup competition this season.

Speaking to Bristol Flyers TV, Thomas said: "We knew we could win this game. It came down to a dog fight, but our main focus was to come out with energy and effort and that’s what we did.

"Consistency is the key so we just want to keep that level steady. We don’t want to get too high or too low - we just want to be a good pace where we can win some ball games.”

Just 60 standing tickets left for the clash with London City Royals on Friday, November 15th.
