Club Statement: Upcoming games postponed

Bristol Flyers can confirm its next three games have been postponed, following a number of positive COVID cases within the first-team squad.

The club was set to face Plymouth City Patriots (Dec 29), Surrey Scorchers (Jan 1) and London Lions (Jan 2), however the combination of Covid-related player absences and existing injuries means an insufficient number of players are available to fulfil the fixtures.

At the request of the Plymouth City Patriots, Flyers have agreed to still travel to Plymouth this evening (Dec 29) for an exhibition game, with both teams able to field unregistered players (7pm tip-off).

New dates for the postponed fixtures will be announced in due course.

Due to players coming out of isolation, it is fully expected the Flyers will be available for the BBL Trophy game on Friday, January 7th against Leicester Riders at the SGS College Arena.
