Chris Bourne has been named assistant coach to the Great Britain Under-20 national team.
Renowned for his work with the SGS Basketball Academy and Flyers youth programme, Bourne will work alongside Mark Jarram and head coach Alan Keane ahead of this summer’s European Championships.
The Flyers assistant coach has a wealth of experience on the international stage, having previously coached England Under-15s, as well as being an apprentice coach to Andreas Kapoulas’ England squad ahead of the 2018 Commonwealth games.
"I'm really appreciative of the opportunity to be involved with the GB Under-20s," said Bourne,
“It's always a privelige to have the opportunity to represent your country. I'm excited to work Coach Keane and the rest of the staff and looking forward to getting started with the squad."
