Bristol Flyers Will Remember Them

There will be a minute's silence ahead of Saturday’s BBL Championship match at the SGS WISE Arena as Flyers and Riders fans pay their respects ahead of Remembrance Day.

Supporters are reminded take their seats in good time before the 7.30pm tip-off in readiness for the minute's silence.

The Royal British Legion will also be at the WISE Arena selling poppies to supporters.

This year, The Royal British Legion is asking the nation to Rethink Remembrance by recognising the sacrifices made not just by the Armed Forces of the past, but by today’s generation too.

For many people, Remembrance is associated with the fallen of the First and Second World Wars. While we will always remember them, the Legion wants to raise awareness of a new generation of veterans and Service personnel that need our support.

Tickets for Saturday’s clash with defending league champions Leicester Riders are still available - click here to buy online.
